Agreements on Therapy
Cancellation Policy
A minimum of 48 hours notice of cancellation is required.
If less than 48 hours notice is given, full fee must be paid for missed visit. There are no exceptions to this because without adequate notice, I am unable to use the time allocated to your appointment.
There is a very significant demand for therapy, and I have people waiting for appointments. I endeavour to see people as quickly as possible and eliminating unused appointments minimises waiting times.
In addition, the research evidence tells us that positive therapeutic outcomes are associated with regular and consistent attendance for the duration of therapy.
If you cancel your appointment with more than 48 hours notice, there will be no charge.
Arranging your appointments
Following your initial assessment, I will discuss your treatment plan with you. You will have a regular therapy appointment with me every week or every second week.
Punctuality
As your and my time is valuable, I will endeavour to start and finish sessions on time. To get the most from your appointment, please arrive a couple of minutes before our session is due to start so that we can get started on time. I am unable to extend appointments if you attend late, as another client may be waiting.
Payment for your appointments
Payments for appointments are to be made at each session. Payments for cancelled appointments with less than 48 hours notice, must be paid at the following session.
